LogMeIn Adds LastPass Enterprise to MSP Portfolio

LogMeIn this week announced that managed service providers (MSPs) can now sell, manage and support LastPass Enterprise, a password management and single sign-on platform.

MSPs that become members of the LogMeIn Partner Network can now take advantage of sub-account management function built directly into LastPass to manage multiple end customer accounts.
LogMeIn is now providing partners with access to 17 products and services, including Bold360, GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, GoToRoom, GoToConnect and a set of LogMeIn Central, Pro and Rescue management tools.

In addition, LogMeIn this week also launched seven hardware bundles for its GoToRoom conferencing platform. These offerings leverage hardware provided by Dolby, Logitech and Poly provide flexible choices for home offices to large meeting spaces. LogMeIn has also established a partnership with Extron, a provider of audio/visual integration tools, to drive custom deployments for corporate board rooms.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic demand for management, security and communications tools has risen sharply, says Rick Ribas, vice president of global channels. LogMeIn is now moving to make it simpler for partners to resell all of those offerings as part of a single portfolio, adds Ribas.

Are you struggling to execute the mechanics of your channel strategy?

If so, check out Channel Mechanics, they offer a complete line of SaaS solutions to manage all aspects of your channel. Demos, NFRS, MDF, Promotions, Partner Leveling… they have over 20 specific solutions to help you get the most out of your partner ecosystem.

“It’s part of the unification of the company,” says Ribas.

While Zoom has benefited most from the need for video conferencing services delivered via the cloud, Ribas says demand for GoToMeeting, GoToRoom and GoTo Webinar has been strong. LogMeIn is betting that as organizations adjust to working from home on a more semi-permanent basis, they will look for more robust alternatives to Zoom that are also more secure, says Ribas.

There’s no doubt large numbers of organizations are reevaluating their entire approach to IT to cope with a new reality. Most organizations anticipated they would have bulk of their employees working from home for at most a few weeks. As it becomes apparent that working conditions may not be reverting back any time soon to the pre-COVID era, there is clearly a much greater opportunity for MSPs to play a larger role in delivering IT services.
